Join PDMS and guest speakers for the Design Diverse mini-conference, celebrating and raising awareness of accessibility & inclusive design.
The event aim is to raise awareness of inclusive design and features a number of speakers from the Isle of Man and the UK, each of whom have a unique perspective and story to tell.
Taking place on the afternoon of 1st December in support of the United Nations’ International Day of People with Disabilities, the content is relevant not only to designers but anyone involved in offering products and services of any kind, in any sector.
Inclusive design aims to enable all people to have a good experience, regardless of their background.
Disability, nationality, race, age, education, economic status and all other differences are considered in inclusive design, and plans made for adapting products and services to meet as many needs and contexts of use as possible.
Following the conference there will be an opportunity for networking with food and drink supplied by Noa.
