Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service coffee morning

09:30 - 11:30 | Wednesday 11th September 2024

Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service (MCALS) would like to invite you along to share your experience and speak to the team about any queries or concerns.

This will be an opportunity for you to find out a little more about MCALS and how they can help you. A number of the MCALS team will be on hand and they are also delighted to announce Dr Wendy Reid (Chair of Manx Care) and Teresa Cope (CEO of Manx Care) will also be in attendance.

MCALS (established in August 2021) is a confidential service operated by Manx Care that is dedicated to driving positive change across the health and social care system by listening to both negative and positive feedback and acting on it.

The service aims to improve patient and service user experiences, by helping to sort problems out quickly, providing advice and pointing people in the right direction to get the help they need.

They would like to invite anyone who would like to share their experience or those with queries or concerns to come along and speak with the team.

They can help with:

  • Providing information or confidential advice about Manx Care, their services and their strategic partners.
  • Signposting you to the department or person you need to speak to.
  • Highlighting the services they offer.
  • Helping to clarify any questions you have about current or planned care or treatment.
  • Helping you to solve any health-related enquiries or problems you may have.
  • Listening to your feedback about their services and how you think they could improve them.
  • Passing your feedback on to their colleagues.
