A pop-up exhibition celebrating the future of biodiversity on the Isle of Man, curated by the Biosphere Artist in Residence, Ali Hodgson.
From beetles to basking sharks, come and discover the Isle of Man’s incredible and precious biodiversity and learn about what makes it so special at this pop-up exhibition curated by Ali Hodgson in celebration of the closing of her year-long position as the Biosphere Artist in Residence.
Discover what makes our Island such a unique habitat for the flora and fauna that call it home, and how can we raise awareness and ensure that we work together to create a future on the Isle of Man in greater partnership with nature and in support of all life.
This one-off event will showcase some of the collaborative work developed over the course of the year in partnership with Manx Wildlife Trust and UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man and include artwork by both the artist and members of the public who have participated in the ‘Reimagining our Biosphere’ game, developed by the artist.
The exhibition will be held on the ground floor of the Work Café from Monday 16th September to Friday 20th September.
This event is kindly supported by the Isle of Man Art Council.
