The Isle of Man was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2016, recognising our unique culture, heritage, environment, economy and our island community which cares for all these things.
The Biosphere partner programme encourages organisations and businesses to pledge their commitment to sustainability through the 5 ‘E’s of Biosphere Isle of Man – engagement, economy, education, enjoyment, and environment.
This event aims to invite over 350 Biosphere partners to come together for the first time to share learning and to shape the future of the Biosphere Partner Forum.
The Biosphere IOM team will give a brief update on where they are as a biosphere reserve and a look ahead at what's next, before asking partners their thoughts on the future of the partner programme and how the Biosphere Partner Forum should look.
